This week CTC looks at Ana Lily Amirpour's 2014 Iranian vampire film A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night.  It's a film full of style and gorgeous visuals that takes a different look at the vampire genre.  We also talk about new releases, offer a mini review of Avengers Infinity War, and pay our respects to Verne Troyer.

Recorded on 4/20 the CTC crew checks out the mind altering journey that is Alejandro Jodorowsky's El Topo, the film that started the midnight movie craze of the seventies and eighties.  This was one of John Lennon's favorite films and another credit in the career of Alfonso "El Guapo" Arau.  Plus new release news.

This week it's everyone for their self as the CTC crew dives into the Japanese sensation Battle Royale.  Stuck on an island, given a survival pack, and fitted with exploding neck collars, a class of young students is given just three days to kill all of their fellow classmates.

In addition to Battle Royale we also discuss the Oscar nominations, recent Hollywood passings, and new releases in theaters and on home video.
